Amythest is a 26 year old vocalist, DJ and producer hailing from Central Florida. Currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada, she is driven by her passion for impacting those around with the energy of her sound.
Growing up watching anime and listening to EDM were a primary part of Amy's childhood influence. When she was around the age of 10 years old, Excision and Skrillex were beginning to first release some of the hit EPs that we know them for today.
These artists were a huge inspiration in music for her from a very young age, and her love for headbanging bass and melodic vocal-chop goodness carries on strongly with her sound.
Being in school and having a set of hobbies that were a bit less popular and unusal at the time for a teenaged girl, she faced many social hardships and bullying.
Today, Amy embodies and expression of her combined love of melodic bass music with her passion for anime and Japanese culture to create the project known as Amythest.
Beginning her journey into the music industry as an event promoter in 2016, she stepped behind the decks and FL Studio as her D.A.W for the first time during Covid19 in 2020, debuting her DJ career as Amythest in 2021.
